5. Research: Find three kupu āhua that can describe te whare (a house). For each write: the Māori word, a one-line English meaning, and one example sentence using he whare ___.

6. Macron check: Find a kupu āhua that uses a macron (e.g., ā, ē, ī, ō, ū). Write the word, its meaning, and explain in one sentence why the macron changes pronunciation or meaning.
