The Magic Garden

Lucy loved spending time in her grandmother's garden. Every Saturday, she would help water the flowers and pull weeds. One sunny morning, Lucy noticed something strange behind the old oak tree. There was a tiny door painted bright blue, no bigger than her hand.

Curious, Lucy knocked gently on the door. To her surprise, it opened! Out flew three tiny fairies with sparkling wings. "Thank you for taking such good care of our garden," said the smallest fairy. "We've been watching you help your grandmother every week."

The fairies showed Lucy their secret world hidden amongst the flowers. They had built tiny houses from acorns and used flower petals as blankets. "Because you've been so kind," said another fairy, "we'll help your grandmother's flowers grow even more beautiful."

From that day on, Lucy's grandmother's garden became the most magnificent in the whole neighbourhood. Lucy kept the fairies' secret, but she always smiled when she saw the flowers blooming brighter than ever before.
