The Last Rainbow Bird
📖 The Last Rainbow Bird - Model Text
Read the story:
The Last Rainbow Bird
Jo and Alex were two brave children. They lived near a big, green forest in Brazil. One day, they heard about a very special bird called the Rainbow Bird. It was the last one left in the whole world!
The children wanted to find the Rainbow Bird before it disappeared forever. This was a big problem because the forest was huge and the bird was very hard to find.
Jo and Alex got on a wooden riverboat. They sailed down the winding river through the spectacular forest. Along the way, they saw amazing birds everywhere! There were underwater birds that could swim like fish. There were glowing lamp birds that lit up like torches in the dark trees. They even saw big-to-little birds that could change their size!
The children searched and searched. They never gave up hope. Finally, at the end of their journey, they spotted a flash of beautiful colours high in the treetops. It was the last Rainbow Bird! They had found it just in time. Now they could tell everyone where it lived so people could protect it.
Jo and Alex felt very happy. They had saved the Rainbow Bird from becoming extinct.
