Weekly Spelling Practice Grid

Practise five useful words through a look–say–cover–write–check routine, then use them in sentences. Read each word carefully before hiding it. At the end, ask someone to read the words aloud for your spelling check.

Five words to master

These words are useful for writing about a day outdoors in Aotearoa New Zealand. Say each word, notice its tricky part, cover it, write it from memory, and check. Practise each one twice.
