What is 0 °C in Fahrenheit?

This thermometer reads 0 °C. In Fahrenheit that is 32 °F, and on the Kelvin scale 273.15 K.

Celsius: 0 °C
Fahrenheit: 32 °F
Kelvin: 273.15 K
Conversion: (0 × 9) ÷ 5 + 32 = 32
Compared with freezing: At freezing point

To convert Celsius to Fahrenheit, multiply by 9, divide by 5 and add 32: (0 × 9) ÷ 5 + 32 = 32, so 0 °C is 32 °F.
Zero degrees Celsius is the freezing point of water — the temperature at which water turns to ice — and it is one of the two fixed points the Celsius scale is built on.
On the Kelvin scale, used in science because it starts at absolute zero, the same temperature is 273.15 K — Kelvin degrees are the same size as Celsius degrees, so converting is just adding 273.15.
