✏️ Part 2: Planning and Writing

WALT (We Are Learning To): plan and write a short fairy tale using descriptive vocabulary and clear sequence (beginning, middle, end).

Success criteria: I can: use interesting words to describe people and places; order events with time words (first, then, finally); write a beginning, middle and end.

Differentiation: Sentence starters and a word bank are available in class. Students may draw or tell parts of their story first. Teacher or peer scribe support available for spelling or typing.

Extension: Add dialogue or an extra scene showing how a character feels.

Dyslexia-friendly reading options: Use large clear font versions of familiar fairy tales, picture-word cards, and oral retell before writing.
