Sam's New Pet

Sam wanted a pet. He went to the pet shop with his mum. The shop had many animals. There were cats, dogs, and birds.

Sam saw a small brown puppy. The puppy wagged its tail. It licked Sam's hand. "I like this one!" said Sam.

Mum smiled. "We can take him home," she said. Sam was very happy. He named the puppy Max.

At home, Sam gave Max some water and food. Max ate all his dinner. Then Max and Sam played in the garden. It was the best day ever!
