The class is planning a residential trip that costs £150. When Kai says he can't afford to go, someone comments, "But your family must have loads of money - you're always wearing designer trainers." Others assume his family doesn't want to pay because "they don't care about education."

During drama class auditions for the school play, Marcus wants to audition for the lead romantic role. Some classmates snigger and say, "You can't be the prince - that's not realistic." The teacher has to remind everyone that any talented actor can play any role.
