I want this plan to focus on The Entrepreneurial Path covering each topic listed below this lesson should stand over about 3 weeks. Each topic should be well detailed and cover the Florida Business Ownership Standards for 9th grade. This lesson also is prep for students to complete the ESB Industry Certification. These lessons should be very detailed in nature.

ESB 1.03 - Real-Life Entrepreneurs ESB 1.04 - Gut Check - Reasons Not to Start a Business ESB 1.05 - Create Your Own Pros and Cons List ESB 1.06 - What is an Entrepreneur? Today’s lesson launches Module 1 of The Entrepreneurial Path by helping students build a clear, evidence-based understanding of what entrepreneurship is, whether it fits them, and what “objective” thinking looks like in informational reading. Students will practice determining a central idea and writing an organized mini-explainer using facts and examples.
This 50-minute lesson is the start of Module 1. The remaining ESB 1.01–ESB 1.17 topics should be taught in sequenced lessons so students repeatedly practice: reading for central idea, organizing writing, and using evidence for objective summaries and explanations. Each subsequent lesson should build from personal fit (ESB 1.02, 1.04–1.05) to entrepreneurial language (1.06–1.09), then business foundation (1.10–1.14), then design thinking and protection (1.15–1.16), ending with mindset assessment (1.17) aligned to ESB Industry Certification prep.
