Lesson Outline

2. Vocabulary Introduction & Contextual Reading (15 minutes)

• Activity:
  Use flashcards to introduce key vocabulary from Realidades 1 Chapter 8B (e.g., viajar, boleto, destino, pasaporte, accidente). Play an audio recording of native speakers using the words in short sentences/phrases.
• Reading:
  Read aloud a short passage from the textbook chapter that uses the new vocabulary.
• Student Task:
  Highlight or underline new words, then guess meaning based on context and teacher hints.
