Trust Yourself

Objectives

1. Students will understand the importance of trusting oneself.
2. Students will identify characteristics and behaviors associated with self-trust.
3. Students will practice activities that build self-confidence and trust in their abilities.

Procedure

A. Preparation

1. Ensure audio equipment is ready for playing the song.
2. Prepare materials for games and activities.
3. Arrange the classroom to facilitate movement and interaction.

B. Checking of Attendance

1. Teacher calls out the names from the attendance list.
2. Students respond with a simple phrase or gesture indicating their presence.

C. Greetings/Prayer

1. Teacher leads the class in a morning greeting.
2. Teacher or a student volunteer leads a short, non-denominational prayer or moment of silence.

Pre-Listening

1. Game - "I Trust You, Partner"

Instructions:

• Divide the class into pairs.
• One student in each pair will be blindfolded.
• The other student will act as the guide.
• The guide will lead the blindfolded partner through a simple obstacle course set up in the classroom (books, chairs, etc.).
• The activity emphasizes the importance of trust between partners and oneself.
