Circulate and check that students distinguish wind direction from wind speed. Students who finish early write one sentence explaining why using several instruments is more useful than using only one.

  5. 25–28 min · Partner check and correction. Display the worksheet review slides one answer at a time. Partners compare responses, explain one answer using “I know this because…,” and make corrections in a different color. Invite volunteers to clarify common errors, especially barometer versus thermometer and wind vane versus anemometer.

  6. 28–30 min · Exit assessment.
