Lesson Overview

This culminating lesson celebrates students’ learning journey in the "Wheels and Wings Adventure" unit. Students will showcase their individual or group projects on various topics related to wheels (cars, bicycles, trains) and wings (birds, airplanes, helicopters). The class will practice important presentation skills aligned with Common Core State Standards (CCSS), build confidence in public speaking, and reflect on their learning.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this 45-minute lesson, students will be able to:

• Deliver a clear and coherent oral presentation about their project, using appropriate volume, pacing, and eye contact to engage an audience.
• Use descriptive language and relevant visual aids to enhance understanding.
• Demonstrate active listening and respond appropriately to classmates' presentations.
• Reflect on key facts learned about wheels and wings and articulate personal insights.
