Strategy 1 — Decompose (Break Apart): Split numbers into tens and ones.
Example: 34 + 25 → (30 + 20) + (4 + 5) = 50 + 9 = 59

Strategy 2 — Make a Ten: Adjust a number to reach the nearest ten, then fix it.
Example: 47 + 8 → 47 + 3 = 50, then 50 + 5 = 55

Strategy 3 — Inverse Relationship: Use addition to check subtraction.
Example: 63 − 28 = 35 → Check: 35 + 28 = 63 ✓
