Harmony Week in Australia

Every year in March, Australia celebrates Harmony Week. This special week begins on 21st March, which is the United Nations International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. Harmony Week is all about celebrating the many different cultures that make Australia such a wonderful place to live.

During Harmony Week, we focus on three important ideas: respect, inclusiveness, and belonging. Respect means treating everyone kindly, no matter where they come from or what they look like.
