Read the situation

At lunchtime, a group is organising a mixed social basketball game. The court is busy, and players have different levels of experience and movement abilities. One student suggests choosing teams by asking everyone to step forward if they think they are “good enough”. Another student suggests making teams balanced and agreeing on simple rules together. A player using a wheelchair asks whether the game can include clear space near the key. A few people laugh when a beginner misses a shot. The group pauses to decide how to make the game welcoming and fair.

1.In this situation, explain the difference between equality (giving everyone the same treatment) and equity (adjusting support or rules so people have a fair opportunity to participate). Give one example of each.
