Online Respect Guidelines

Read the scenarios and use the guidelines to decide how to keep online spaces safe, kind and inclusive. If something online worries you, you can stop, save evidence and talk to a trusted adult.

The group chat dilemma

A group is planning a weekend football game in a chat. Kai suggests a time, but another person replies, “That’s a stupid idea.” Someone else shares a screenshot of a private message without asking. A new member has not been included in the plans yet.
