  • The 8 times table counts up in 8s: 8, 16, 24, 32, 40, 48, 56, 64, 72, 80, 88, 96.
  • Skip counting in 8s is the same thing as the 8 times table — start at 8 and add 8 each time.
  • Multiplication works in either order, so 8 × 8 gives the same answer as 8 × 8 = 64. Learning one fact gives you both.
  • Every answer in the 8 times table is a multiple of 8, so each one divides exactly by 8 — for example 56 ÷ 8 = 7.
