📚 WALT & Success Criteria

WALT: We are learning to identify and use AFFOREST techniques in NZ speeches to persuade an audience.

Success criteria: I can name each AFFOREST technique, match it to a definition, identify examples in short speech excerpts, and plan a short speech using at least three techniques.

Differentiation: Support: provide highlighted excerpts and sentence starters. Challenge: add nuanced language analysis and consider audience reaction.

Extension: Analyse a full NZ political or community speech and annotate where each AFFOREST technique appears; compare effectiveness.
