Colours Sentence Strip Cards

This resource is a one-page, cut-and-use set of sentence strip cards that each show a coloured splash, a short sentence (e.g. “The apple is red.”) and a matching clip art picture. It is designed as a quick visual scaffold for teaching colour vocabulary, early reading of simple SVO sentences and matching words to images — useful for EAL and SEND learners. Cards include both singular and plural forms (is/are) and a mix of common nouns.
