Last Saturday, our town had a big problem. Riverside Park was covered with trash! Empty cans, old newspapers, and plastic bags were scattered everywhere. The park looked terrible. The grass was hidden under layers of litter, and the beautiful flowers were choked by plastic waste. The air smelled bad, and the sound of birds was drowned out by the noise of crumpled wrappers blowing in the wind.
