What is Perspective?

Perspective is how a character sees and feels about what happens in a story. Think of it like wearing different colored glasses - the same thing can look very different depending on who is looking at it!

Key Questions to Ask:

• What does this character think about what happened?

• How does this character feel?

• Why might they feel this way?

• Would another character see this differently?

Example:

In "The Three Little Pigs," the wolf thinks he just wants dinner. But the pigs think he wants to hurt them. Same story - very different perspectives!
