Newton's Three Laws of Motion

Long ago, a smart scientist named Isaac Newton discovered three important rules about how things move. These rules help us understand why objects start moving, stop moving, or change direction.

Law #1 - Things at Rest Stay at Rest: If something is sitting still, it will keep sitting still unless something pushes or pulls it. Think about a ball on the ground. It won't move by itself! You have to kick it to make it roll. Also, if something is already moving, it will keep moving in the same direction unless something stops it.

Law #2 - Push Harder, Go Faster: The harder you push something, the faster it will move. If you gently push a swing, it moves slowly. If you push it hard, it moves fast! Heavy things need bigger pushes than light things to move the same speed.

Law #3 - Every Push Has a Push Back: When you push on something, it pushes back on you with the same force. When you walk, you push back on the ground with your feet, and the ground pushes you forward. When you sit in a chair, you push down on it, and the chair pushes up on you so you don't fall!
