Whare Tapa Whā Wellbeing Model (simple)

About this illustration

A simple, colourful illustration of the Whare Tapa Whā wellbeing model depicted as a Māori meeting house (whare). The house structure has a decorated ridgepole (tāhuhu) at the apex with koru carvings, carved pou (posts) on either side, and a green foundation base. Inside the house are four vertical panels, each containing an icon and text label representing one dimension of health: taha tinana (physical) shown with a green active figure, taha hinengaro (mental/emotional) shown with a blue head containing a cloud and heart, taha wairua (spiritual) shown with a purple koru/spiral, and taha whānau (family/social) shown with a gold family group with a heart. The foundation is labelled 'whenua (land)' with plant/leaf decorations on either side.
