A homeschool planner has one job: tell you what happens today without making you think. Most printed planners fail because they are built for teachers with one class and thirty students, or for mums with one child and a colour-coded life. This one is built for a family: several children, a handful of subjects, and a week that changes.
It is a single page per week. Subjects run down the left, Monday to Friday across the top, and the wide column on the right is for the things that do not fit in a box: the library day, the appointment, the thing you meant to order. Print a term's worth, clip them into a binder, and fill in Sunday night in ten minutes.

How to use it
Using the homeschool weekly planner
- 1Print one sheet per week. US Letter or A4 both work; the layout has margins for either.
- 2Write the child's name at the top if you keep one per child, or leave it blank for a whole-family planner and initial each box.
- 3Down the left, write your subjects in the order you teach them: morning basket, math, language arts, history or science, and so on.
- 4Fill the week on Sunday. Be specific enough to start without thinking ('MM 3B p.44–45', 'SOTW ch. 12 + map'), not so detailed that a bad Tuesday wrecks it.
- 5Tick or cross out as you go. Unfinished boxes roll into next week; that is what the notes column is for.

Is this homeschool planner free to print?
Yes. Print or save it as a PDF as many times as you like for your own family. We ask for an email the first time so we can send you the rest of the template set.
Can I use it for more than one child?
Yes. Either print one per child, or use a single sheet for the family and initial boxes by child. Families with three or more children usually go one-per-child from about grade 3.
Does it work in a digital planner app?
Save it as a PDF and import it into GoodNotes, Notability or any PDF annotator; the boxes are large enough for handwriting on a tablet.
What is the best homeschool planner?
The one you fill in every week. Paper works for most families because it sits on the table where the school happens. If you want digital, Homeschool Planet and Homeschool Tracker are the two most-used apps.
