About this printable

This printable is a labelled-diagram activity for teaching or revising the human circulatory system: students match terms from a word bank (e.g. aorta, vena cava, pulmonary artery/vein, capillaries) to 15 points on a colour-coded body diagram. An extension section with three short-answer questions asks pupils to explain basic functions and differences between arteries, veins and capillaries. The sheet is designed for classroom use as guided practice, independent consolidation or a short formative assessment of anatomical vocabulary and basic structure–function understanding.
