This resource is a single A4 sheet of boxed cards with clear colour illustrations and labels (e.g. Grass — Producer; Grasshopper — Primary Consumer; Frog — Secondary Consumer; Snake — Tertiary Consumer; Eagle — Apex Predator; Fungi/Bacteria — Decomposer). It is designed for hands-on sorting, matching and chain-building activities to reinforce food-chain vocabulary and trophic levels. Cards are pre-labelled with the organism name and its trophic role so the teacher can focus class time on discussion and linking chains rather than on writing labels.
