About this printable

This printable is a one-page ten-frame mat with six linked tasks: build a number on a ten-frame, write the numeral, represent it as a tally/number-bond/equation, show how many more to make 10, find 1 more/1 less and write the number in words. It is designed to develop early number sense and part–whole thinking for numbers up to 10 and to give multiple representations for the same number. The sheet also includes a small key vocabulary strip (more/less/equal/add/take away/part–whole).
