At the school football tournament, Caleb’s team was warming up for its first match. Hiroshi, the team’s goalkeeper, kept glancing toward the equipment bags.
“I can’t find my cleats,” he said. “I brought them this morning, but they’re not here.” Without cleats, Hiroshi could not safely play on the field. The match would start in ten minutes.
