📖 Read the Story
Pandora's Box
Long ago in Greece, the gods made a curious girl named Pandora. Zeus gave her a beautiful golden box as a gift. "Never open this box," Zeus warned her. "Keep it closed forever." Pandora promised she would never open it. She put the box on a high shelf in her house.
Every day, Pandora looked at the pretty golden box. She wondered what was inside. The box seemed to whisper her name. One morning, Pandora could not stop thinking about it. "Just a tiny peek won't hurt," she said to herself. She climbed up and opened the box just a crack.
Suddenly, dark clouds flew out of the box! The clouds were full of bad things like sadness, anger, and sickness. They flew all around the world. Pandora quickly shut the box, but it was too late. However, one good thing was still left inside - a bright light called Hope. Hope flew out last and promised to help people when bad things happen.
