About this printable

This A4 printable combines a visual algebra-tiles reference (x^2, x, +1, −1), worked examples, a vocabulary box (term, coefficient, variable, constant, like terms, opposites, equivalent expressions), a data-recording grid and a short guided-practice worksheet. The sheet also includes cut-out tiles at the bottom so students can physically build expressions before recording and simplifying them. Use it to move students from concrete tile models to symbolic algebraic notation and combining like terms.
