Reading Response Bookmarks

This sheet prints six colourful bookmarks with targeted response prompts and a short writing/drawing space under each heading to scaffold comprehension and talk. Use them to teach response strategies (summarising, questioning, predicting, connecting, visualising, and citing evidence) and to give students a visible prompt when reading independently or in groups. They are designed to be cut along dotted lines and handed out or kept in readers as a reminder of thinking routines.
