Roll a six-sided die once for each story part. Find the matching idea in each list and use all three ideas to plan your story. Then write a beginning, a problem, how the character solves it, and an ending. If you do not have a die, choose one idea from each list.

- 6 — A rare object needs to be found
Plan and begin
4.Sketch your chosen character in the place where the story happens. Include at least two setting details.
5.Write the opening of your story. Introduce the character and setting, and give your character a name.
6.Describe the challenge your character faces. What happens, and how does your character feel?
Solve it and wrap up
7.Explain how your character works through the challenge. Include an action or idea that helps.
8.Write an ending that shows what happens after the challenge is solved. Give the story a satisfying final moment.
9.Draw a scene from your story's final moment. Add details that show where the characters are and what is happening.
